Connecting businesses and nonprofits to strengthen their communities by making local projects possible.
On May 7, the Give Social team presented Beth Mullin, Executive Director of Rock Creek Conservancy, with a check for $1500 from our first online Ask. Beth gratefully received the check and told the assembled crowd how important the funding is for the replanting and how excited she and her team are to be a part of Give Social.
Mike McCann of the National Park Service was also on hand, and he told the community that they are now a part of the “legacy” of Rock Creek Park, the nation’s third oldest national park, for, because of their efforts, the urban park will be revitalized with daffodils and perennials for years to come.
Check out these photos below. Special thanks to Diana and Mishary for photographing!
